I always feel jolted to a sense of emotional emancipation when I realize something so beautiful- paradoxically unrestrained yet trapped in the spell of its wonders. I am blessed to be in touch with this feeling every now and then, thus think if I die tomorrow it wouldn’t have been in vain. I discovered Audrey Kawasaki’s art years ago, how I felt then about her works hasn’t waned to this day and I am almost certain that it will only grow in time as she does as an artist, as her art further morph itself into tangible representation of the feminine psyche.
