We ended up with just the 2 of us in the SF City Hall in our jeans- Asian bride, American groom, and African-American lady judge to officiate. It was cool and practical. My ex cried during the ceremony because he said it overwhelmed him to be getting married to the woman of his dreams and I felt I was marrying the man of my dreams too. It was really sweet. So at that time- that sufficed for the hopeless romantic me. We went home and changed to have dinner in a nice Japanese restaurant and I remember having the best sashimi in my entire existence.

WEDDING BELLS RINGING
My dear sister is getting married in December. My future brother-in- law, Paolo and she have been together now for 5 years I think. I know he loves my sister very much and I am really happy for them. They will both be based in Singapore next year. I'm actually excited to see her walk down the aisle in her gown. It's going to be a traditional Catholic wedding. My ex and I planned to have a beautiful yacht wedding under the Golden Gate Bridge and I was to wear my Monique Lhuillier gown with some loved ones around to hear the vows we wrote for each other.

At this juncture of my life, I still dream of having a romantic wedding, nothing fancy just romantic. I want to have a grand romantic wedding when I'm old and grey. I will have to grow old gracefully so I can wear my dream wedding dress. Yay!!!
